Last leg of our trip, Paris.....

We are staying in Paris for two days, nothing really planned, just going to go with what we feel like doing at the moment. Had a great day in Reims but l am now looking forward to seeing the Romantic side of Paris with Philippe!

During our evening walk we decided
to have a look inside this church

Beautiful little church by our hotel

Able to get in a quick tour before it closed, yes
not all churches are open 24/7

Enjoying a traditional french meal, plate of
french cheeses and baguette

With wine of course

Just a few more examples of the cost of Real Estate in
Paris... Converted to .... 472.441 sq ft for
 $2,310,212

254.331 sq feet for $2,112,193

Great view of the "Lovers Bridge"
Pont des Arts

Lovers would fasten a padlock on the to the railings.
The couple would then toss the key into the Seine below
symbolising their eternal love

View on the bridge

View from other direction

The "Great Canadian Pub" Just didn't seem right
not to stop there for a beer!

Fountain

Visited a outdoor market...

and they have every fish going

including these squid

A really busy spot!

The most famous flea market in Paris is the one at Porte de Clignancourt, officially called Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, but known to everyone as Les Puces (The Fleas). It covers seven hectares and is the largest antique market in the world, receiving between 120,000 to 180,000 visitors each weekend.

This market is comparable to the Kensingston Market in
England....... Hundreds and l mean hundreds of vendors are
located here. If you were to visit every vendor you would
spend a better part of your day here.

If you are looking for the latest fashion,
antiques, art, books, music or anything
else that you can think of,  you will most
likely find it here!

Some night time window shopping

Some Ralph Lauren and no this isn't at the
market!

Ralph Lauren

Louis Vuitton

 A little Armani

On this last leg of our tour, Philippe wanted to stop
by to one of his places of employment from his younger
days, his friends at the Hat Factory. The fountain is a park
that is located by his old office where he and his colleagues
would have their lunch and take in the lovely environment
that surrounded them. According to Philippe, not much
has changed since the last time he had visited...

In this lovely park, this memorial stands. It is dedicated to the Children of France who were
murdered at the Concentration Camp, Auschwitz.

Philippe and his former collegues. He was surprised to
see how many of them still work there! It was a nice visit and it was very clear to me that they think highly of him as well. I wish we could of taken a tour of the factory but l guess it isn't allowed... Chanel won't want their secret designs leaked l guess! :) However l did get a nice little package, their 2011-2012 Collection pictures which turn out to be post cards, don't think l will use them for that though...

So this concludes our 10 day tour, back to Beaumont Le Roger we go.
I have had a wonderful time traveling with my personal tour guide. I have enjoyed every minute of this trip and every km that we have driven together! I have met some wonderful people during this tour and some l think l can now call my friend. I look forward to continuing our relationships!
I have also seen and experienced many things as well on this trip, some that will stay with me for the rest of my life as. But what l have enjoyed the most.......... experiencing all these firsts with the love of my life....... Philippe. Thank you Philippe for sharing this part of you with me...
